Are You Whole Before Him?
Discover how ready you are to embrace self-love, healing, and God's timing.
Hey Queens of Purpose,
Last week’s devotional was all about loving yourself and honoring your God-given love story. Now, it’s time to go deeper. This quiz was designed to help you reflect on where you are in your self-love journey. Whether you’re single, healing, or preparing for love, this is your moment to check in with your heart, your habits, and your healing.
And if you’re married, sis—don’t skip this. Your love story is still unfolding. Taking this quiz can help you identify areas where you may need to reconnect with yourself, rediscover what makes you feel loved, and even open the door to deeper intimacy in your relationship. The more you love you, the more love you have to give.
Be honest, take your time, and let this be a step toward becoming the healthiest, most whole version of you.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Answer each statement honestly. Choose the answer that reflects where you are right now, not where you hope to be.
A = Always
B = Sometimes
C = Rarely or Never
THE QUIZ:
I trust God fully with the timeline of my love story.
I feel whole and complete even when I’m not in a relationship.
I don’t need external validation (likes, flirty texts, etc.) to feel worthy.
I ask God to reveal any emotional voids I’m still trying to fill.
I know how to sit with my loneliness without rushing into a relationship.
I’ve taken intentional steps toward healing past emotional wounds.
I actively pursue therapy, counseling, or mentorship for deeper healing.
I’ve broken soul ties or emotional attachments from past relationships.
I talk to God about my love life without shame or fear.
I genuinely enjoy time alone with myself—without feeling empty.
I regularly affirm myself using biblical truth.
I create moments of self-love (buying flowers, journaling, worship nights, etc.).
I protect my peace by setting boundaries with people and situations.
I don’t feel “less than” when I see couples or weddings.
I believe I’m a gift—not just waiting to be chosen but already valuable.
I would be content if marriage took longer than I expected.
I’ve stopped comparing my love life to others’.
I’ve forgiven people who broke my heart.
I’ve forgiven myself for who I allowed in past seasons.
I believe God's love is enough—even before romantic love arrives.
RESULTS CHART
Count how many of each letter (A, B, C) you selected. Then check your result below:
16–20 A’s — Whole, Healed & Walking in Love
Sis, you’re in your soft era—with Jesus at the center. You’re surrendered, healed, and living in a space where love is flowing to you and from you. Your wholeness isn’t just about a relationship—it’s about purpose. Stay grounded and keep trusting God’s plan.
10–15 A’s — Growing, Grounded & Becoming
You’re doing the work and it shows. Some days feel stronger than others, but you’re on the right path. Healing isn’t linear, and God sees your effort. Stay consistent in your faith, therapy, and self-love practices. You’re becoming the woman your future is waiting for.
5–9 A’s — In the Healing Room
You’re not behind—you’re just being refined. Some areas of pain, doubt, or insecurity are still lingering, and that’s okay. Now’s the time to lean in, not pull back. Get honest with yourself and with God. This is your becoming season. Don’t skip it.
0–4 A’s — The Surrender Starts Here
This may be your wake-up call—and God’s gentle nudge. There’s hurt here. Maybe avoidance. Maybe confusion. But you are deeply loved, and God wants to heal the places you’ve ignored. Take one step today: journal, pray, or reach out to a mentor. Start your wholeness journey with grace.
Sis, I took the quiz too—and my score was 19.
But let me be honest: I didn’t arrive there overnight. That number isn’t about perfection—it’s about process.
I’ve sat in therapy sessions that broke me open. I’ve forgiven my father more times than I can count—and still choose to love and honor him, even when the pain resurfaces. I ask God daily to cleanse my heart, to keep me soft, and to show me where I still need healing. I’m honest with Him about the wait, about the moments when it feels heavy, and about my desire for love.
So if your score wasn’t as high, I want you to hear this clearly:
You are not behind. You are becoming.
This quiz isn’t about judgment—it’s a check-in. A tool to help you grow in self-love, not a test you have to pass to be worthy of love. Keep showing up for your healing. Keep choosing wholeness. And keep trusting God with your love story. He’s writing something beautiful—even in the waiting. I’m praying for you!
