When Love Heals What You’ve Hidden

Sometimes God answers prayers for love not with flowers and fairytales, but with healing and exposure. Real love holds up a mirror to our pain; of peeling back childhood wounds, unmet needs, and unspoken fears. When it’s God-authored, it stays and gently teaches us to receive what we once believed we weren’t worthy of.

Have I been pushing away the very thing I once asked God for—whether love, healing, or connection—because it’s arriving in a way I didn’t expect?
Prayer:
God, thank You for sending love that doesn’t just feel good—but heals deeply. Give me courage to receive what You’ve sent, even when it touches places I’d rather leave hidden. Amen.
